Ford Home Energy Solutions — Bidirectional Power

I led UX for the launch of Ford’s bidirectional energy system, allowing the F-150 Lightning to serve as a backup power source for homes. This initiative required translating complex energy infrastructure into a seamless, trustworthy customer experience.

 

The result empowered households to maintain power during outages, lower energy costs, and support grid stability by shifting energy usage during peak demand.
